Chef Angel – From Page to Tee
Every now and then, a design comes along that feels bigger than just ink on fabric. Chef Angel is that design for me.
This one started on a blank screen with nothing but a stylus and a memory of every long shift, every scar, and every moment that made me fall in love with kitchen culture. I hit record and let the time lapse roll, so you can see the whole thing come alive stroke by stroke – no shortcuts, no gimmicks, just the raw process.
What makes this design different is the story behind it. I’ve spent years in kitchens, climbing my way up into executive chef positions across the industry. At the same time, I’ve always been an artist, comic books, wall murals, design work, even becoming a nationally certified henna artist. Odd Chef is where those two worlds finally collide.
Chef Angel is the result. A piece that blends my early dream of being a full-time artist with the reality of a life spent in kitchens. It’s not polished to perfection, because neither are we. It’s gritty, a little raw, and it carries that sense of pride and chaos only chefs understand.
Odd Chef has never been about making just another graphic tee. It’s about creating something that resonates, that feels like part of our tribe. For better or worse, the kitchen leaves its mark on us. Chef Angel is my way of putting that mark back out into the world.
The time lapse video drops with the launch, so you can see exactly how this one came to life, start to finish. No angel wings handed down from above, just knives, sweat, and a pen that doesn’t stop moving.
Chef Angel isn’t just a design. It’s a piece of my story and maybe yours too.
