1. Wash at lower temperatures and gentler detergents.
2. Avoid excessive spin cycles. More can increase wear and tear.
3. Air-dry when possible and, if tumble drying, avoid heavy companions like winter coats or blankets.
4. Iron (if you must) apparel inside-out and use a lower heat setting.
